This week sees the availability of the eagerly anticipated debut single "In Cold Blood". Residing in the White Hills of Lancashire England, The Black Presidents are Paul Bramwell, Andrew Morris and Michael Moss. Forming from the now deceased ACMB, the remaining three members have spent the majority of the past 12 months penning their new material alongside a kaleidoscope of helpers. It has been a long and difficult road which brings the band to this point, having encountered both the bad and the beautiful in 2008. First came the realisation that Paul may never drum again having succumb to a hostile back condition. But after undergoing numerous spinal surgeries he is now secure thank the Lord. Added to this was the arrival of Charlie, Paul and Stephanie’s first child. Horizons are now drowned in optimism. With renewed energies the band went head first into recording the new songs with friend and writer William Carter. In Cold Blood was the first of this new breed and sound, evoking the darker wild west sound Carter had intended. Others quickly followed. Uncertain of whether the band would even survive 2008, this year could not be more exciting. Having established a catalogue of songs to aim at the ears of those who care to listen. The Demo “In Cold Blood” is the first material by the band.
